EMC Test Chambers for Military and Avionic Applications
Panashield has designed RF Shielded Anechoic Chambers suitable for EMC testing to various standards specifically MIL STD 461E.
The chamber is constructed using the Panabolt modular panel RF shielding system that provides high level RF shielding integrity. MIL STD 461E specifies both the reflectivity characteristic of the RF absorber and the minimum area of the internal chamber surface to be covered.
Chamber dimensions are dependant on the size of the test object. The chamber lined with the truncated pyramidal absorber is also suitable for testing to RTCA DO-160.
Nominal Size
- 4.3 m x 3.7 m x 3.1 m high for smaller test objects
- 6.1 m x 6.1 m x 3.7 m high for larger test objects
<Frequency Range:
Standard Features:
- Single leaf RF shielded door 1220 x 2130 mm high
- Two connector panels 300 x 300 mm
- Two 30 amp filters, one each for power and lighting
- Earth/ground stud
- Full or supervised installation
Absorber Lining:
- 500 mm deep truncated pyramidal absorber specifically optimised for EMC low frequency applications.
- Absorber on both end walls.
- Absorber on areas of the side walls and ceiling at the EUT/ test bench end of the chamber
Absorber reflectivity:
